Excellent service and the feeling of being a friend only having just met.

Supplied me with the correct part for my Yamaha, then offered me a very good px offer for it.
I went in for a new bit, cane out with a different machine.
Office staff are welcoming and friendly.
Workshop was very helpful and patient with me and my many questions, even though they were very busy and all the ramps were full with other motorcycles.

Personally, a bit more needs doing to promote the business as I thought the place was a training center for riders doing CBT and lessons, but they are a very nice and local to me, motorcycle sales and service centre.
A pleasant mistake to make.
I'm looking forward to dealing with them again for my service and MOT needs, and maybe my next ride.

Thank you guys, Ken, Maria and all so much for such friendly and understanding service today and for 2 full test rides on a Tiger 800XC and the Versys. Absolutely invaluable to be able to take the bikes out on the road to really get the feel for them and how they would be on a planned long journey to Italy as its quite different from sitting on them in the showroom.

Haven't ridden bigger bikes for a few years now and I know I didn't end up committing today on either model but I have definitely chosen 'Ride DMC' as my dealer now for my next bike!!! especially as I will hopefully be starting work in Coldred Road in November!

I guess I need to talk to my wife, sort out all the finances, (thankyou for the trade in quote!) and work out my absolute top limit without getting a loan or finance (want to pay in cash what I can afford!) and then come back. I shall be checking the website!!

Here's a bit of a back story to me dealing with ride DMC.

After having my motorbike stolen.
I decided I would wait before I bought another. However, whilst Looking online at motorbikes I saw they had a very rare BMW R1200 ST. Now I know a lot about this bike and it was for a reasonable price. Because I didn't want to buy a bike, I purposely ignored it.
then one day by chance on a Saturday. My friend needs a new brake pads for his BMW.
Naturally main dealers couldn't supply so I said I'll try ride DMC sure enough they have the pads on the shelf and they were sold for a good price. But what this meant was I had to attend and physically look at the BMW R 1200 ST because of that I had to put a deposit down and have a test ride and the rest is history. The bike is parked outside my house now locked and chained..
The service from right DMC was impeccable and the timings on service MOT and picking up the bike was spot-on.
A great bunch of guys that made purchasing a bike through finance as well easy.
It's testament to this if you sit there on a Saturday drinking a cup of coffee the amount of people that turn up to buy service and or just calling to chat at ride DMC.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE

Recently purchased a used Honda from ride DMC and cannot recommend them highly enough from start to finish they were fantastic from the guys in the workshop to Maria you are all a credit!! This is the first bike I have purchased without an inspection due to living hundreds of miles away but from the first couple of minutes on the initial phone call I just knew it was the the one for me and that was down to the dealership. They organised delivery and kept me informed throughout the whole process and upon inspection when I received the bike I honestly couldn't have been happier, I work in the trade so I know a good dealership and nowadays they are few and far between. Brought a lovely ktm 1290 Superduke gt from ride dmc and it was the easiest purchase I've had in regards to buying a bike on finance they are very nice and down to earth and when I rang to find out the delivery date they told me it had just had its mot and they also put 2 new premium tyres on it plus a new chain and sprocket so really can't ask for better so top marks guys will defo use you again

Usually, most positive feedback seems to belong to customers who haven't had problems, so I thought I'd share my experience as a customer for whom the process did not turn out as anticipated. I bought my bike from Ride DMC and noticed some issues soon afterwards. They were happy to take it in for a check, and throughout, communication with Glen (the mechanic) was excellent: he made the effort to explain each part to me, its function, how it may or may not malfunction, etc. I rode it for few more weeks and the issue was still there. Kindly enough, they did another check on it, except that by this I was leaning towards returning this particular bike and going for another. They accepted my return without any questions or disputes, and Matt (the manager, I think?) was very nice and welcoming about the whole process. I was able to get a full refund even though I had already put several hundred miles on the bike, and they even offered to post some of my personal belongings on the bike back to me. Because a large chunk of the payment was via finance, I also had to sort out some paperwork for the refund to go through: Maria, who I believe specialises in this side of things, was very sympathetic and efficient, and she ensured that the whole process took less than fifteen minutes to complete.
Overall, I will most certainly recommend Rime DMC, especially if you are new or in your first years of riding: they are experienced, professional, and have a 'fair trade' manner of doing business. I will be returning for my next purchase!

Purchased a 2016 Kawasaki Versys 650GT from Ride DMC for my lads 21st Birthday. Saw the bike advert online along with the video and arranged to travel down to view the bike from Lancashire.
A young member of staff brought the bike out to us in the showroom and spent the best part of an hour going over the bike...incredibly knowledgable, friendly and patient. Really helpful and made us feel at ease purchasing the bike, a credit to the company. The Versys was perfect with no hidden scrapes, marks or damage - just as the online pics and walk around video showed.
Decision made and paperwork completed in the office, they kindly arranged delivery which would be in just a few days. A few days later the bike courier called to say he would be delivering the bike the next day and arranged a suitable time, he arrived bang on time...the bike was unloaded and delivered to us in perfect condition.
Highly Recommended and will definitely be returning to Ride DMC when the time comes for a change.

This is how buying a motorbike should be...

Great communication with guys that really know what they're talking about and pride themselves on their service. They couldn't do enough for me and it ends with an immaculate bike, exactly what I wanted, serviced, valeted and most importantly piece of mind, knowing that I've made the right decision and bought a quality bike, they even messaged to make sure I'd got home ok.

They kept hold of it for 3 months for me while I was waiting on an insurance payout after an accident on a very small deposit, who does that these days. I cannot recommend them enough. An old school shop with old school values, don't take the risk, if you're in the market for a new bike, buy Ride DMC

I'd seen a bike i really wanted from Ride DMC but was over 230miles away. I googled Dmc and read the reviews. Which really helped with my concerns and worries about buying online
I then rang DMC who were more then helpful, i spoke to Glen who went out of his way to send over extra pictures and also even a video additional to the one on the website.
I decided to put a deposit on the bike and buy it!
The bike arrived better then described and I'm delighted. I've got to say thanks to everyone at ride DMC especially Glen. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another from them in the future!

Bought a KTM 1090 Adventure R off them in November and wanted to see how the bike got on before I made a review. It's running like a dream and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I rode a long way to buy off them after reading previous reviews. They gave me a great valuation on my part exchange and from start to finish the deal was easy. The bike had clearly been gone over with a fine tooth comb as all joints were lubed - even the side stand bolt! Great lads too. Couldn't recommend more.

I bought a bmw r1200rt in September off these guys. Although I didn't end up putting my tiger in part ex in the end due to a last minute private buyer they did offer me a cracking offer on it .I've just had a slight fault with my bm wear 1 of the arms that operate the electric windshield as broken. I rang dmc to explain what happened an with no hesitation they offered me the money to get the problem solved back home as they are based 150 miles from me. Happy days. Would hyily recommend good selection of bikes at affordable price.

After a 15 years break from motorcycling with kidification / house buying / stuck in a tin box, I found myself at long last in a place I could regain my freedom :D... I searched and found the bikes online, took my time, looked in a few local dealers then decided to visit these most excellent people. As others have said they are laid back guided me to to my R1200GS (that was done with profestionalisom) that \'eye candy\' MT-09 nearly got the better of me! The bikes here are well prepared thoughout the shop, by a great staff who understand what we the customers expect to see and recieave from a bike dealer!! Matt gave me the best advice on collection being \'use the warrenty\' that is though McAm\'s, I had a first day accident :/ Mr white van man drove strieght across a junction full speed...BANG! Using the warrenty accident management has truely helped! Had i used my insurance to claim on this 100% not my fault sinario, I would have felt out of control of the claim but the fully informative Mcam\'s win hands down against a non comunicative insurance company anyday! With hindsight i would pay the extra to extend the warrenty past the 3 months given in the price! Buy with confidence in a great team. Thankyou to all at RIDE DMC! I\'ll be popping in for a cuppa tea when paasing ;)

I had been toying with an idea of getting a BMW S1000RR really like the look of em and low and behold Matt had one in but it wasn't showing on the website as it just came in.

Well took it for a test ride and I wasn't 100 % sure I wanted it but the bike was in mint condition and still with warranty, after some thought I went for it and I must say I love it !

There's no hard sell just good advice, I'd have no worries getting a bike from these guys !

I bought a Suzuki GSXR1000 and this was described over the phone, condition and history to me as I could not visit the shop. I purchased the bike on Saturday and the bike was delivered on the Tuesday. When the bike courier who DMC use delivered the bike I could not believe how accurate the discription was. I'm fussy but some things that were mentioned I don't think I would have spotted. I went up to view the bike, was shown around the bike, it was in great condition, nothing wrong with it at all and was exactly what i was looking for, so i had to have it.
